Gold plated micro-needles delivers RF heat energy into the middle layer of your skin known as the dermis. The heat energy causes controlled damage in the area of application, eventually triggering a repair response from the body. The proteins that make your skin firm and strong (Collagen and Elastin), are stimulated to produce thicker, firmer, tighter and rejuvenated skin. If combined with treatments like PRF, it will maximise the results!
Radiofrequency (RF) with gold Micro-needling is safe for all skin types which makes it an exceptional option for darker skin types who cannot have laser treatments due to pigmentation risks.
Immediately after your first treatment you may look like you have mild sunburn since your skin will still be flushed from the treatment process. This will fade away within 24-48 hours as your skin begins to heal, you will notice a new glow develop over several weeks.
How Is The RF Gold Micro-needling Procedure Performed?
After cleansing your skin, we apply a strong numbing cream to the treatment area to make you as comfortable as possible.The treatment takes 20-30 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area.
RF gold Micro-needling create pinpoint bleeding.However, bleeding is minimal and resolves immediately without any side effects or action.
We will be apply a cool, soothing mask to your skin following the treatment. For face and neck we can also include Led light therapy for 20 minutes after treatment.
When Will I Start To See Results From RF Microneedling Treatment?
Because radiofrequency causes your skin to produce new collagen and elastin and rebuild your old and damaged cells, results are not immediate; it depends upon the speed at which your body heals. Although results are visible after the first treatment, you’ll start to notice more significant changes in your skin following the second treatment. Optimal results are seen 3-4 months after you complete your series.
How Many Treatments Are Recommended?
Majority of patients will see significant results with a series of 3-4 treatments, spaced bout three to four weeks apart.

Alternatively, you should avoid the treatment if you:
• Currently or recently used Accutane
• Have an active cold sore breakout
• Have a skin infection
• Have a moderate to severe skin disease (like psoriasis)
• Are receiving chemotherapy or radiation therapy
• Are pregnant
• Are taking anticoagulants
• Have a history of keloids, hypertrophic scarring, or poor wound healing.
Aftercare
• This treatment can improve skin texture and tone, refine fine lines and wrinkles and reduce scars such as acne or stretch marks while preserving natural appearance
• The most commonly reported temporary side effects are redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, tingling, numbness
• Visible results may take between 2-6 weeks and vary between individuals. 3-6 sessions are recommended
• Cold gel packs or a cold compress can be applied to reduce swelling and tenderness
• Avoid exercise and heat treatments for 48h • Avoid makeup until skin has healed (min 48h)
• Avoid any acid based or retinol creams for 72h post treatment
